In 1995, Sue Arnold opened Arnolds Wildlife Rehabilitation and Rescue Center in Okeechobee, Florida. In 2018, Arnolds expanded to Brownington, Vermont where the focus is on the rescue of horses, donkeys and continuing the Poitou lineage. Bari and Doug Fischer have joined forces with Sue as enthusiastic volunteers to oversee and maintain the rescue and breeding. With compassion, love and unwavering dedication, this team provides the animals exactly what they need; a permanent home and the freedom to lead happy and healthy lives.
Arnold's is open to the public, but appointments are preferable. Private tours available by request; donations are suggested and appreciated.
